Refund Policy

1. General Policy

Due to the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of original artwork, all sales of physical artwork, including original paintings and drawings, are considered final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges based on change of mind, buyer's remorse, or subjective differences in artistic interpretation. By completing a purchase, the Buyer accepts the artwork "as is."

2. Damaged Goods Policy

In the event that your artwork arrives damaged due to transit, our refund and resolution process is governed by the insurance coverage outlined in our Shipping Policy.

  • Procedure: If damage occurs during shipping, the Buyer must contact us immediately at CiciRoseArt@gmail.com within 5 days of delivery. The Buyer must retain all original packaging and provide photographic evidence of both the package damage and the artwork damage.

  • Resolution: Upon confirmation of damage via photographic evidence and successful processing of the shipping insurance claim, we will offer one of the following resolutions, at our discretion and dependent on the feasibility:

    • Repair: If the damage is repairable, we may arrange for the piece to be safely returned for professional repair.

    • Full Refund: A full refund of the purchase price, excluding original shipping costs (unless covered by insurance), will be issued.

    • Replacement: Due to the original nature of the work, replacement is generally not possible. However, if a commissioned piece is damaged and a similar piece can be recreated, this may be offered.

3. Commissions and Custom Work

Refunds related to custom commissions are strictly governed by the Commission Agreement signed prior to the start of the work.

  • Deposits: All initial deposits (e.g., 100% of the total fee) are non-refundable, as they cover time spent on consultation, design, and materials acquisition.

  • Refunds Post-Acceptance: Once the Buyer has approved the final commission artwork (either digitally or physically) and the final payment has been made, the sale is final, and no further refunds will be issued.

  • Cancellation by Artist: If the Artist must cancel a commission for unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments made, including the initial deposit, will be issued to the Buyer.

4. Digital Products

All sales of digital products (e.g., logo files, digital designs, printable art, if applicable) are final and non-refundable once the files have been delivered or downloaded, due to the nature of digital goods.

5. Processing Refunds

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed using the original method of payment within 5 business days of the agreement or confirmation of the insurance claim resolution. You will receive an email notification when your refund has been issued.
